Doughnuts
Ingredients:
500g of flour
40g of leaven
50g of sugar
1/8 of tepid milk
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of rum
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 white for coating
apricot jam for stuffing
oil for frying
ground sugar
How to prepare:
Sift flour in to large kitchenware. Put little flour, crumbled leaven, sugar and half of milk to a smaller kitchenware. Cover it and leave on warm 15 minutes. Then put this into large kitchenware where the flour is. Add rest of sugar, flour, milk, eggs, rum, olive oil and salt. Cover and leave on warm 20 minutes.
You flour desk and roll out dough. Cut out circles of diameter 7cm. Coat outside edge with whisk white. Stuff jam on the middle, put circles on it and squeeze edges carefully together.
Cover cookies and leave them to rest for about 15 minutes. Warm fat to 175 degrees C. Doughnuts lay on fat vice versa as they were resting. Fry them in covered kitchenware 3 minutes and then in uncovered kitchenware 3-4minutes.
Lay doughnuts on salver. Put paper serviettes under the doughnuts because they absorb redundant fat from doughnuts. Finally sprinkle them with ground sugar.
